I spent a few years looking for the right E39 M5 to add to my collection of “modern classic” M cars.
This car was the best example I could find. Although not an individual colour, the car was completely genuine and honest. Having never been modified and used exclusively for travelling to the long term previous owners holiday home, it was exactly what I was looking for. Especially as unlike so many examples, it had no rust.
The car was sent immediately to Munich Power, my chosen marque specialist, who confirmed it was one of the best examples he had seen in years.
A full open check book mechanical and cosmetic overhaul was undertaken, including a plethora of replacement oem parts which is documented in the extensive vehicle history file.
I’ve yet to see a comparable example.
